One of the beautiful reminders of the appointed times is that YHVH wants to meet with us and commune with us all the time.
His feasts and Sabbaths tend to stir the most excitement, and for good reason; they are mentioned several times throughout Scripture. They have commandments for us to partake in, and they usually point us back to historical events and toward prophetic ones.
But there is an appointed time which is often not mentioned in our fellowships. This holy day is not a Sabbath. It is not a pilgrimage feast. It’s mentioned only a handful of times in Scripture, seems to only require priests’ involvement, and doesn’t have clear historical or prophetic significance.
And yet, YHVH calls it a “moed,” or appointed time; there are Scriptures about us celebrating it now and in the future, and it is a vital part of this picture of YHVH desiring to be a God who dwells and communes with His people.

I am delighted and incredibly grateful that the King of kings, the Most High, the Creator of all that is would desire to meet with me. Not just once or twice in my lifetime. Not just a few times a year. But continually— daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly!
He desires to dwell and meet with you, too. His Rosh Chodesh is coming. Will you be there?
Shalom!
Raquel
